I was asked the other day “What makes it faux cuisine?”. It comes down to three things:
- that it be easy - the average faux cuisine recipe doesn’t take a lot of effort,
- that it be quick - usually not more than 20 minutes, and
- that it be faux - that is fake - cuisine, something that looks a lot better than the time and effort put into it.
If you have a favourite recipe that you would like to share, please leave me a comment, and I’ll get in touch with you.
Best regards, Andrew

I’m a big fan of creating faux cuisine - cooking that looks great, tastes wonderful, but is relatively quick and easy. I’ve published a few faux cuisine recipes over at Facibus Reviews, and have received reader comments around formalising the ingredient lists and quantities - hence this blog
I’ll slowly put the recipes into usable form and add others.
If you have any suggestions for making this blog better, please leave a comment.
